Registration Counter 

First stop – the check-in desk! It’s 2021, so one of our masked and vaccinated staff takes a quick temperature scan before checking you in and handing your room keys. 

Beachfront Lounge Area and Pool

Truthfully, our “Lounge Area” consists of most of our property – it’s all beautiful, beachfront, spacious, and offers different areas for mingling or sticking with your group.

Take a dip in our beachfront pool and watch the waves roll in, or pull a nearby chaise into the sun (or shade).

Roll out a yoga mat or crank out some push-ups in our grassy multipurpose area. You can also join or observe martial arts training or yoga classes, which often flow into this spacious spot. 

Of course, you can always grab one of our iconic hammocks and take a quick nap or read a book while soaking in the relaxed beachfront ambience.

Beachfront Hotel Rooms

All hotel rooms at Beach Break are only steps away from the world-class beach break of Playa Venao. Walk out of your front door and that’s it – you’re on the beach! 

We offer a variety of rooms, from private standard and family rooms that fit up to 5 to shared dorms that house up to 6. All rooms have hot water, air conditioning, WIFI access, and private bathroom. 

We keep our rooms simple, yet clean and comfortable. After all, the whole point is to be outside and on the beach! 

Modern Fitness Center 

One of our pride and joys at Beach Break is our modern fitness center, the perfect space to sweat, play, learn, and maintain your active lifestyle. 

We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for both kids and adults as well as yoga, kickboxing, pilates and group fitness to keep your mind and body active on vacation. 

Pizza Gavilan Playa Venao

Our beachfront restaurant and bar serves the best pizza in Venao (especially when you’re ravenous after a hearty surf or jiu-jitsu session). The location doesn’t hurt either – you can take in the waves and surfers while chowing down over breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The menu isn’t limited to pizza, either. You’ll find a range of healthy and indulgent options– from classic Panamanian staples to international cuisine like our famous Shashuka.

Sometimes, you want to cook up your own grub. We get that, and offer a spacious and well-maintained community kitchen stocked with basic supplies and spices.

Beach Break Surf Camp

Naturally, the main “facility” for our surf camp is the ocean– and Playa Venao rarely fails to deliver a pristine supply of waves.

Still, much of our instruction takes place out of the water, whether you’re practicing the basics of the pop-up from the safety of the sand or reviewing your surfing video analysis with one of our expert coaches after a solid sesh. 

Of course, Beach Break has a space where we store, rent, and repair surfboards and other gear you may need to conquer those waves.
